PPI attends the 4th Mexico Gas Summit in San Antonio, Texas

The Mexico Gas Summit has become the platform that brings together recognized industry speakers, investors, government officials, and executives from the energy, infrastructure, and transportation industries.

The fourth edition held in San Antonio, Texas focused on Mexico’s opportunities associated with Gulf Coast onshore exploration and production, midstream infrastructure, gas commercialization and the refined fuels market.

PPI’s President & CEO, Salvador Escobedo was the keynote speaker at the “Onshore Exploration: Oil and Gas Development in Mexico” round of talks. During his presentation, our CEO referred to the challenges and growth opportunities for PEMEX through the Farm-outs and State Rounds.

He also explained the mechanism to become a PEMEX Supplier, the benefits and the process of completing the supplier register; detailing the requirements of the Basic and Extended Registries, which allows visibility to the contracting areas of Pemex.

Our President also participated in the panel “Onshore Exploration in Mexico with an eye on Tamaulipas” where he share some insights with Andrés Fusco, Tamaulipas Energy Commissioner; Carlos de Luna, Business Development Director of Grupo Industrial Monclova; Roberto Blanco, Vice President of Energy of Grupo Alfa; Pablo Medina, VP Research, Welligence Energy Analytics and Alejandra Bueno, Chair of the Energy Committee of the Asociación de Empresarios Mexicanos (AEM).
